The Center for an Eology-Based Economy is committed to addressing the climate crisis by developing practical, accessible and economically viable solutions that foster resilient comunities as we transition to a thriving, regenerative economy that is built on a backbone of clean renewable energy and regenerative agricultural practices.
In this presentation, Roberta Hill, CEBE's Bioregional Coordinator, accomanied by her special guest, Penobscot activist and Wabanaki Alliance Executive Director Maulian Bryant, will focus on the work CEBE has been doing with the Wabanaki people in Maine and why they feel it is so important to support Wabanaki Sovereignty.
An ecologist and educator, Roberta has been helping Maine communities protect the ecological systems they depend upon for more than three decades. As the Bioregional Coordinator of Center for an Ecology-Based Economy, she applies her knowledge and experience to help cultivate and integrate CEBE more deeply into a thriving network of regenerative, ecology-based practitioners across the Acadian Northern Forest bioregion. Roberta is also a member of CEBE’s Climate Education Team, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for the complexity and interrelatedness of earth’s life sustaining systems.
