This course is a non-sectarian study of the development of theism and atheism in the West. It will examine the theories of major Greek, Christian and modern philosophers of religion. Discussion will be the main means used during the class with concentration on individual beliefs and opinions of the students.

Anita Denis is a native of Lewiston and now lives in Auburn. She attended St. Dominic Academy and Rivier College in Nashua. She earned her Masters Degree at Rhode Island College. She taught Middle School and High School students in Rhode Island, Pakistan, Portugal, Ethiopia, Kenya, Kuwait, Bahrain and South Korea.
